CSPAN-3 is replaying the account of F-16 Pilot Heather Penney (link)

It's on a few times this weekend. Heather Penney was one of the two F-16 pilots that scrambled from Andrews AFB to stop Flight 93. They didn't have time to arm the planes, so they went up unarmed, intending to ram the airliner if needed. Flew over the Pentagon on their sweeps looking for Flight 93. Later in the day she flew fighter cap and escorted Air Force One back to DC.

Father and Daughter Pilots Reflect on September 11, 2001
Heather Penney was one of the first DC Air National Guard F-16 pilots scrambled from Andrews Air Force Base after the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Her father, John Penney, was a United Airlines captain. In this program, Ms. Penney talks about her experiences that day, and the possibility that she might have to bring down United Airlines Flight 93, which terrorists had hijacked.
